For those of you who already know, I apologise. I'm not trying to teach you how to suck eggs.
For those that dont know, there is a second fuel filter in the diesel models underneath the car next to the tailshaft. I finally got around to replacing mine today and upon inspecting the stuff that came out of it, I presume it hasnt been changed in a long time.
There were no distinct particles, but the left over diesel in this filter was black like used engine oil! It hadnt come through to the main filter (touch wood) but it's certainly worth being aware that the filter is there and needs replacing!
Brad.
