I have a very light film of fluid around the lid and top of the power steering reservoir. I don't know if that's normal given all the bouncing around the bush I do. But, given the brake fluid reservoir doesn't leak, I'm thinking it's possibly a warranty repair job?

Re: Power steering reservoir leak
Hi Fellas. Quite common. Power strg oil gets hot as per normal and vapours off. Dust sticks to this oil mist which has condensed around the cap (which has a small breather hole in it) and makes it look as if you have a major issue. You may find that the oil gets hotter with off road work as a result of higher number of full lock - to - lock operations which makes the pump work harder than it would on highway work. This would make the oil hotter and produce more oil vapour. Is the oil level going down rapidly? Just give it a wipe up every now and again and see if it does it on totally highway work. Re: Power steering reservoir leak
i was getting this every time we played on stockton in the dunes.
bought and fitted a small cooler kit and hasn't been and issue since.
as DERB says, it's just from the fluid getting very hot, not a leak
