had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear. -
yeah 50litres of unleaded goes really well with polystyrene under floor flotation in a 16ft quintrex . but don't worry he's not the only one i know who has done that . oh yeah i think thats the longest time he's ever spent without a durrie in his hand .03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !

Surely you must ahve some Armed Forces stories about mishaps, when I did my trdae we had people filling boots with liquid soap, water bottles with industrial alcohol, stubbies with other yellow liquids all totally dangerous and ridiculous.. but at the time..

I went to the usual bowser at the shell servo, put 10 litres in the tank, then the bowser shut down, the old bloke at the desk came to the door and said " dont you still have a diesel in that wagon.? oops.. finished the fill with diesel , seemed to go no diffrent. The attendent said the bowsers had been swaped around to allow people towing boats e.t.c. easier access to the diesel bowser, and I wasnt the first, he tried to let people he knew about the change. Yes there was no clip on the handpiece for petrol, and it was clearly marked, the diesel had a clip, old habits I guess.Comment

Along similar lines, I have a mate who's wife drives an Astra, washer bottle ran out so she proceeded to pour nearly 2 litres of water into the oil filler....
Have also heard stories (as most people probably have) of people trying to top up their oil through the dipstick hole..
