I like the idea of lighting a fire underneath the sump!!!

On the off chance I happen to be travelling with a petrol prado (aka sapradogxl) - could i use the same method?
Be easy to keep the fire going to, just have to disconnect a fuel line...

Matty, Dave whinges like a girl when you ask to borrow a cap full of petrol. Says things like, "you know petrol is expensive and my rig uses a lot of it. I'm not as fortunate as you diesel owners" etc etc.

He will need to fill up 3 or 4 times trying to tow that boat home with his new trailer brakes lol.

Girls, you need to stop the jealousy..... I have seen you do all these mods to try and get the power of the petrol. As for towing the boat, all will be good, as I will nto be paying for the petrol...

Dave, is that a challenge? The chip goes in Wednesday so lets say presigned transfer papers, winner takes all this Saturday? ;p Oh wait, that's right, you have to be somewhere else lol

PS, love your new electric brake install, you should post it up on your rig build up page! Looks very professional.

I need to creat a rig build-up page, which I know Matty is keen to assist me with. But since he is away for the next 4 weeks, it may be a little way off.

Ah yes, it is good to get positive feedback about your mods, especially when the people asissting leave early......

Laughed my head off watching the BMW riders do this at Cabramurra years ago during the Alpine Rally in Mid winter, run by the BMW bike club in Sydney.
They used to sling off at me for taking an old Yamaha 2 stroke and started first kick every time.
BMW guys used to sets of 2 fires going and they would wheel their bike up to them to heat the sumps. Still get a real belly laugh to have it mentioned here.
