I can't beleave the short sightedness of this thread!!
Doesn't matter where you get your fuel from as the consumer is protected against Dirty/contaminated fuel stations and provided that you have proof of purchase and can prove it came from there tanks followed by full proof of regular maintenance of your vehicle to manufacturers service requirements etc, The guarantee is the same right across the board and applies to all servo's Australia wide.
Obviously if you go to an old servo Remote or burbs then the odds of picking-up silt or water from there tanks will be higher than a high-turnover new servo as there tanks would most-likely be clean, then the painful road of proving it will be no different than if its BP or who ever. Read the guide-lines of protocol of being able to make a claim.
I never buy fuel if a tanker is dropping fuel as it would be obvious that all silt and water has been stirred from the bottom of the tanks.
