So in theory we could say:
*Stop the build up in the 1st place (Probably not possible)
*Minimize the build up and periodic cleaning (catch can and cleaning solutions)
*Total clean once performance becomes an issue. (possible engine and/or parts damage)
Point 2 would be will be my method with a strip down every 100,000kms or so.
