KZ Cooling Overhaul questions

Hey guys i am getting the cooling system overhauled by Toyota cause believe it or not their prices were quite good can you let me know if i am missing anything

Radiator and block flush
New radiator hoses
New Thermostat
New water pump
New coolant super long life
Pressure test cooling system inc radiator
Test viscous coupling and over haul if required

I was told they would inspect the radiator and if it looked ok they would pressure test and re use as it should be good for eva

As they have it apart they reccomended doing the timing belt and tensioner even though it is 50,000 early

Is there anything i have missed car has 240,000 on the clock with new injectors at 200,000 still runs like a dream

It sounds like you pretty much have it covered mate.
Im interested to know what the quote was like to get that job done...
How competitive were they?

I was quoted 1700 that is with the tensioner they usually just lubricate it but i told them to change it out
Same work was quoted at Natrad for 1100 but no timing belt done with non genuine the fact that the parts have lasted 225k i wanted to go genuine again

$1700 sounds high if they're not replacing the radiator. I had a water pump done under warrantee. The invoice that went to extra care was $400 and something. The parts listed were 10L of coolant, and a water pump with gasket.

As set of genuine hoses is around $300 (top and bottom radiator, 2xheater and a few miscellaneous hose pieces). A thermostat couldn't be more than $50. Toyota sell viscous coupling rebuild parts i.e. the silicon oil and o-ring.
