'no more rattles, great price and a really good company to deal with' . its all we want.

anyway, back on topic, feel free SteveH to go which ever way you prefer, we're simply trying to offer an Aussie built alternative with what we feel is better quality.
Well, my experience in dealing with you has been a very positive one, mostly from the communication standpoint. I've emailed your CS team, and mentioned it on FaceBook as well (that is how I found you).

Thanks Baileys, I'm almost sure I'll be knocking on your door when the time is right. Still doing my homework with setting new codes, reading values, collecting everything I need to do the job, tools, cable etc... As I said before, I'm not in urgent need of injectors but It'll be soon. You've improved on price and If your quality is there, I'll be more than happy and will recommend your product for sure.

Reveiw on Baileys injectors.. Whats your thoughts

Friend of mine with 120 prado rebuilt his engine at 155 after motor failure - fitted baileys dlc injectors - so far, two have failed. So much for the more reliable coating.
To their credit they have replaced them, but imho, that ain't the point.

Baileys injectors in my recon motor last year. 40000km and all still basically the same readings as when they went in.

Could they possibly be PRE-Full DLC injectors that were installed?

Is there anyone in Maryborough, Hervey Bay or Bundy that is the go to for having these Baileys injectors fitted? I am still debating Denso or BDG and I think I prefer BDG but still unsure.

Hey guys. Just got a quick question. I replaced my injectors with baileys injectors 10 000kms ago and when prado went in for a service they told me all 4 injectors need replacing.. one i could tell as it was very noisy cold. Like so loud you could hear it from outside the car. The values they found where as follows

                    Cylinder 1: -1.6
                    2: 2.9
                    3: 2.6
                    4: -4.3

I have spoken to baileys and they wanted me to fill out there form for warranty. So i went back to toyota and they where more then happy to fill it out.. but now baileys want me to remove the injectors and send them back to there workshop so they can test them. No replacements are offered so my car will be out of action for a few weeks. So my question is how hard is it to remove them and install them in my own shed. As getting toyota to do it and have my car sit in there workshop for weeks will cost me a fortune.. i am starting to think i should have just paid the full 4 grand for brand newys. Cheers blokes.

Istalled baileys 10 000km ago now having major issues with them.. the ring roll around getting the warrenty is an absolute joke. Ending up costing me about the same price as new denso ones.... the injectors baileys supplied to me are really bad. They are happy to replace them but i have to now remove them and send them back to there workshop so my car will be out of action because they dont supply ones until then... if i had my time again i would just get the new ones and not baileys.

Yeah see this is not what I wanted to hear. If the post sales support is rubbish then there is no point getting them.

Our Prado is all we have as a family car so if I get a Baileys injector and it plays up and I am going to get the run around then no thanks. I know the same could happen with Denso but if you are marketing yourself as a better alternative then it needs to be in all areas better.

                        Real shame

Had BDG injectors installed at 125,000 last year. The Prado has run faultlessly since and recently completed a 14,500 km half loop.
At last service last week at 150,000 asked for values to be checked and they were (1) 1.3; (2) 0.9; (3) 0.8; (4) 0.6

When mine started to give cold knock and had a bad reading on one injector I had the same response from baileys, 'pull them out, send them down and we will inspect them' if it's a warranty issue they get replaced. If there's something else causing it (fuel contamination etc) then why should baileys be liable, if it's not their fault. and if they send you a new set and you have contaminated fuel it could stuff the new set straight away, then what? Would you expect them to cover another set under warranty, would you pay for the set you just stuffed and another replacement set?
It's perfectly reasonable to want to inspect the product before honouring the warranty. Baileys are a good company from the point of view that if the problem is theirs, they will send you a new set of injectors. They're not just going to brush it off as contamination on a legitimate warranty claim and leave you hanging.
Having the car off the road for a week is an inconvenience, nothing you could do about that except offer to pay for a set of injectors to be sent up front, to be refunded if/when warranty is approved.
I was happy to take care of the labour myself when I had to pull mine out (mechanical fitter by trade and I have a hard time trusting most mechanics workmanship) so I never questioned baileys covering labour to remove/refit under warranty. But if you're not confident in doing them yourself it may be worth asking the question of whether they cover the labour for warranty claims.

Ask them if you can pay to get a new set then send the old set down. If they're found to be faulty, they should be able to refund you the full cost of the replacement set. The only problem with this approach is if they injectors are not found to be faulty, you'll be installing another set of Bailey's without the option of getting new Denso units as you'd have already paid for and installed the replacement Baileys.
