Re: Engine mount shudder
Rang the dealer and told them I was concerned about the car being different to when I left it with them so they said bring it back and we'll do a test drive.
The bloke that came with me was very good. He said:

The bloke that came with me was very good. He said:
- it wasn't an unusual amount of vibration
he has seen other D4Ds a lot worse
he will log it and will appear against the vehicle for its lifetime
he wants me to do a few more k's and report back (we are about to do 1700km this week)
interesting part: the engine mount is electronically driven and kicks in when at idle to make it "feel" smoother
this wasn't the first time he has heard post-10K vehicles exhibiting this behaviour
he preferred the old TD to the new one - old one quieter, smoother etc.
