Saw some Donaldson branded filters

Hi All.

Saw some donaldson Branded oil filters on the desk of one of the places I deal with through work.

My question is, Has anyone heard good or bad reports about Donaldson filters.
I am taking about oil, fuel and air filters. I just bought a Z334?( might have the numbers mixed up) for my oil change the other day for about $35 from the local auto store.

The price for the equivilent Donaldson was around $22.
They also had the fuel filter there(the under bonnet one) and if I had the part number of the airfilter he could have priced that for me as well.
I know Donaldson filters from their round Pre cleaners, and I gather they have a good name for that.
But what about the other filters, They sure do look good in the price department, But are they crap???

A lot of truck service places use and sell Donaldson and Fleetguard filters. I've also seen Perkins filters around the place. If they were no good, truck fleet operators wouldn't be using them.

I used to use Fleetguard Z418's on my 1uzfe without a problem.
