1kz-te sump removal

I'm doing an engine flush on my '03 Prado ( manual) and thought I'd remove the sump to check it out as it's done 340k
The Haynes manual says the front axle assembly needs to be moved but i have seen some comments that if the chassis is raised the sump pan is accessible without the need for this.
I have not found any videos for this one the 1kz-te .
Any comments would help

The lower pressed steel sub pan can be removed quite easily without any major surgery. The cast alloy section above it would need the engine out or diff + steering rack removal.

Thanks - I'm only removing the pan to give it's bottom a check and clean.
I think one just uses something like an RTV sealant for the gasket? Although I will pick up some new plug washers from Toyota when I'm in town next week.

Yep Permatex ultra grey RTV or Three Bond grey
