The fuel gauge was always showing empty.
My installer took it to toyota and replace the gauge cluster
for free because there is apparently a recall.
As for the supercharger what they are referring to is
the volumetric effect when the liquid becomes vapor in the
cylinder, in other words it cools the incoming air just like the
supercharger and that it is why there is no diference in power
and an increase in torque.
The economy i am keeping a close eye the next few days.What i do i go
for long drives to get the injectors working harder.I will let you know.
Mine cost $5300 because i did an oil change(recommended it),changed
all the spark plugs to platinum iridium and installed the lube kit for
peace of mind.

GXL05 just wondering if you have come to a conclusion with the economy? I am seriously considering installing this LPG system and would like to gather as much info as possible. What do you average on petrol as 20l/100km on gas seems a little high?

I am really happy withe the new liquid lpg system.
The car has the same driveability as petrol cannot tell the diference.
As for the fuel economy in the city i am still not happy.
Today i got in touch with LPG Warehouse who make the kits for
liqid lpg and told them that i am not happy with the economy that i am
getting. They agreed that my economy figures are not and next week
i should have some answers maybe they reeplace the injectors.
I shall let you know how it all goes. I am pretty positive my problem
will be fixed....
I will keep you posted.....

Hi, new to the forum,I've been following the discussions re liquid lpg.I too am close to installing lpg,it would really provide some peace of mind if their was
some more reported outcomes from people who have this system..
To me personally it's more about the possible damage to the vehicle then the cash outlay..

First time reply. I have an 03 petrol and have just started running it on premium. Apparently it take up to 3000km for the VVT to adjust. It seems like a lot of a whole lot of $ to convert to LPG. $5000 buys a bucket load of petrol, probably the differnece between a petrol and diesel engine.

Well our shop has fitted a fair few 120 prados with the gas injection systems all in all we are realy happy with the LPgas warehouse system ie EURO GAS, I was lucky enough to do the liquid course at Tafe held by LPgas warehouse, This new liquid system is fantastic and is the way to go, cost is a little higher but the extra power and milage would make it worth while. If there is any one in the Sydney area and you dont mind to be the first i will do the install for $500 plus the kit at trade we are keen to do all our own testing with there kit. We have a 4x4 dyno all our work is done to a high standard We would need your truck for one week
and will come with all dyno test sheets and the very good wty by LPG gas Wearhouse.This can be done around FEB-MARCH.2010
