Correct, unless you can locate a stacker elsewhere like in the cargo area or in the glovebox, it seems you are missing the stacker that is normally under the passenger seat in a Grande. The in-dash sat nav unit only has a single CD player."Sure it’s quiet, for a diesel, but that’s like being well-behaved… for a murderer."- Jeremy Clarkson

The Toyota cd player will read MP3, so convert your music to MP3 & burn it to discs, a lot less changing of cd's that way.
Thats what I did, even with the 6 cd stacker.
Now with the 150, I use a ipod classic 160GB player & connect it using the Aux plug.
The result is lots of music that I like & NO ADDS & boring talk shows.

Not sure if it is any help but my 120 GXL has the standard toyota radio 6 stacker and it does play MP3 comes up in the screen saying it. Not sure if the grande's head unit would do the same thing ?? you would think so if the GXL does......Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

I'm constantly amazed at how many variants Mr T makes for different markets - got to be crazy expensive!
I have a UK-spec LC5 - the equivalent in most respects to your Grande.
But - under the passenger seat I have an audio amplifier, touch-screen SatNag DVD under the drivers seat and a 6-stack cd changer in place of the little utility space above the glove compartment. The SatNag screen is fixed and doesn't tilt ...

Caripodcables do an adaptor to get Ipod/Aux into Prado Stereos, to connect the Ipod adaptor you need to disconnect the Stacker, no problem for you, someone has already done it for you!!!
