  • aftermarket rims lugnut question

    Hey guys,
I am soon installing procomp 5029s on my 2005 LC
Someone told me that the OEM lugnuts will not fit ?!?
    Anyone has experience with that?
    What lugnuts should I buy?

I attached a pic of the wheel

    Thanks so much

to me it looks like you will need just a normal tapered nut, the standard alloy wheel nuts have that large collar on them that wont fit with those wheels, you can pick up replacements for about $1.50 -$2 per nut, dont pay more than that (toyota want $7 per nut)

    anyone confirm?

PROCOMP can supply you with a new set of wheel nuts with a socket to suit.

the procomp wheels have a smaller bore for the wheel nuts, which means the standard 21mm nut will fit, but not the impact socket. a thin wall socket will do up the 21mm, but it will take the powder coat off the wheel.

best to get the wheel nut kit off procomp.
