Funny my dealer is getting shirtey about me putting off delivery because it's now "in stock".
Is this because it's costing him money or does he need end of month sales to make his quota?

Maybe not counted as a sale until full proceeds are in their bank?

It's taking up space at the dealers?

They've washed and detailed it once and they'll have to do it again when you collect?

Boat salesman are the same. It might take months and months for your new boat to arrive, and they never seem in any hurry, but when I told them either this day or it doesnt matter cause I am going out of town for 3 weeks I will get it then, it suddenly was ready on that day. Might be something to do with insurance on a vehicle that they dont own and never will sitting in a yard that could suffer problems like storms hail vandals etc...
Until you sign that you recieved it, the car is their problem......
