It's a bit of a drive, but take it out to Windsor Toyota, and see what they have to say.
If the DLC is cleared, and the fault codes or code comes back, then there's a problem that needs to be sorted.
What's the fault codes, dear angry man?
      The Roo.
Agree with you Roo, I take mine to Windsor Toyota, a bit of a drive from southern Sydney, but no complaints yet over 3 years.

I say if the OP doesn't come back any time soon to get help with their issues... delete the thread... treat it as spam

Yep, I thought that a few minutes after it was posted.

On benefit, I'll give it a few more days for a reply before moving it to archive. It's more a troll post.
OP was given infractions anyway for the profanity in it.

Your main problem is the dealers, not the specifically the car, that much I can vouch for having dealt with Bill Buckles and another down south.

What if the accessories have been fitted substandard and caused issues? Engines played with by owner, never serviced etc?
Always two sides to a story before hanging the dealers..

And it's pretty obvious the OP stuck it up here imagining the damage and huge loss of sales he would cause to Toyota with his sooky post.. Yeah right..

Noooo!!! I say keep it, to see who can come up with the most original solution to the OT's problems. The Landrover & Great Wall suggestions are a good start, but we've got a lot of very clever & witty people here at Pradopoint, who I'm sure can come up with something that will give us all some good comedic therapy.

As for the Great Wall suggestion, I saw what looked like a brand new one at Fraser Is last year ... On the back of a truck. I guess that's one way of seeing the country and still being able to sell your car as "low kilometres".

                    Good idea.

I reckon this bloke is a prime candidate for - "I bought a Jeep."

The "I bought a Jeep" has become a great catchphrase in our house; just not quite how it was originally Chrysler/Jeep intended 8)

True, if he's that reliable to not come back & see the replies, he probably never got it serviced.
There is so many very silly people that bring their vehicles to me, every 20-30-40-50k or 2 years for their service.

                          I agree, I'd delete it.

Really? How could they possibly expect it to last?! I get worried if I can't get mine booked in for a couple hundred k's over.

I wonder how many other forums chiaras has posted this to.

185,000 trouble free k's on mine, still original clutch, original brake pads (due to change though) and not had one single issue at all in the last 6 years of owning it as well as the previous 120 series we had for 3 years prior to that. Nice first post too.

If i had all the supposed problems your going on about I would have gotten a refund from the dealer and moved on. I find it hard to believe that this has gone on for the last two years and you're still having problems not to mention that you take it back to the same place time and time again.

As others have said, look around here and you will find hundreds of happy people and thousands around the country about having a prado. I smell a rat.
