Hey Guys and Gals,
I have seen a few posts from people with cracked dash boards in their 120 prado's and how disappointed they are with the whole situation.
I have been in contact with the ACCC and DIRD about the situation, and i have explained to them that its not only a thing about vehicle appearance and aesthetics but mainly about safety considering that pieces of the dash could come off and become a projectile in the case of an accident.
I have forwarded on pictures that show a massive amount of crack right over the top of the SRS airbag signing on the passenger side of the dash.
I first sent an email to the ACCC explaining the situation and they replied to me the other day saying that i have some sort of case that needs answering and i should contact the DIRD (department of infrastructure and regional development) so they can investigate the matter further.
I have been in contact with a few people on the prado 120 forum on Facebook discussing the matter and there is a lot of backing as consumers for toyota to fix their mess and make it right, so i thought i would bring the good people of the prado point forum up to date and i will keep you posted.
cheers guys
