    Bump
Hey guys. Anyone know how to remove the long flat silver piece on the door trim? I have managed to get most of the rest all wrapped up, but want to do the rest so it all matches.
    Any idea?

      Here are my attempts.

Next I think I have to remove the door trims completely, to get the silver pieces off.

So, although it looks very nice, if you don't want to wrap your trim in Di Noc film, did anyone find out the paint code for the trim and where to get it from?

Bump. Does anyone know of a paint code and brand to best match the 120's silver trim?

Hi Fronty, I will have a look on the can I bought from a local auto paint shop here in WA (Balcatta) and report back when I get home. The guy came out to my 120 found the paint code in the passenger side door well (should be there for you too). He then looked it up and already had a couple of cans mixed up. Was as simple as popping off all of the trim, cleaning then I sprayed each one a couple of coats and looks just like new. The colour is almost identical to the original, very hard to pick the difference if at all. Good as new!

Just take the trim off and go to supercheap or Repco pick the closest.
Usually there are a lot of silvers, surely the closest would be ok?

This is the paint I used, came out almost identical. You should be able to see the shop details as well on the bottom sticker if you wanted to contact them.
                Cheers

I noticed wedding rings are a killer on the inside handles on the 150. You think they would use something a little more durable.

Hi all been a while since I have been on here.
How do you remove the trims from the rear doors where the ashtrays and window switches are ?
I have a few scratches on them from something that was being carried in the back.
I will have a go at respraying them.

EDIT : found out how to remove the rear trim panels easy just edge them out with a spatula, now just have to get the right paint spray.

ozwapet2 have a look at post 37, I have a pic of the can I used to respray my trim. It is as close to the original colour as you are going to get - I cannot tell the difference! Cost me around $25 - $30 from memory.

I got the same one for my car (removed the wrap when i sold it) I just respayed all of the silver trims so they would be a match anyway.
