Cassette is a bit dated for even then I agree, however the audio system as standard sound quality wise is really quite good, I use a cassette adapter and plug in my phone for streamed music (i'm too cheap to upgrade to full head unit lol)

The question is too restrictive! How can we limit it to one when there are so many LOL.

        1. The cruise control is the worst on any vehicle I've ever owned, without exception!
Holden's is far superior but to compare apples with apples, the two previous CRD Autos I've owned were also far superior -
one from Europe and one from Korea.

        2. The back door debacle I had to acknowledge before purchase but I still don't like it.

        3. The woeful abrogation of responsibility by Toyota when it comes to recalls and warranties.
(As evidenced by being hauled in front of the Chinese Gov., Japanese Gov. And three US congressional committees)
Locally evidenced by the refusal to recall over the injector scandal amongst others already highlighted in PP.
Perhaps it's the sheer number of recalls that they did effect, (some where around 17 million in the last three years)
that makes them shy away from the other ones that they should effect.

        4. The Auto that changes down two gears when you lightly touch the brake peddle. Then locks itself in there revving uselessly.

        5. The brakes that jam themselves on in a panic-stop if you move your foot from throttle to brake pedal too quickly.

Nah... I'd need at least four things fixed to bring it up to what I thought I was getting.
The door was I penance I was prepared to suffer.

          Hi All,

I would ask Increase Towing Capacity to at least 3000kgs.
The current 2500kg is crap in todays market with caravans regualarly tare at 2300-2600kgs.

There is no sane reason why the 120 D4D shouldn't be 3000kgs.
They did produce the 150 Shorty with 3000kgs but that was it.

Also, Full Electric Front Seats, with no manual control.

Finally a 150KW V6 Twin Turbo Diesel with 550NM Torque.

              I agree with you mate.

So many things we need to shove down the engineers' throats when they start developing new cars. This s#it needs to be done so customers can be pleased and that they can compete properly with competitors.

Random question, is the cruise control in the 150 as rev-happy as the 120?

Yes, and can be f****** dangerous at times, such as when travelling up an incline and the auto kicks back to 2nd, and you travel over the crest 20 or 30 above the speed limit before you disconnect the thing.

Been like this since the bloody cruise was in the old Cressida's in my Toyota days (worked there from 1988) We said back then the cruise control was an issue, glad they listen...NOT......Cheers Steve

Cruise control is a must fix. It is aweful and dangerous. How hard is it to stop the car dropping form 4th to 2nd to fly up a small incline and launch over the top?
