Contact MLC. It might just be that they are no longer on sale at pradopoint but still available elsewhere.

Given that AJ has sadly left PP, it makes sense for him not to offer product here.

      • Got to take my Prado for a day trip to the coast on Sunday. Hadn't really driven it for a while. Still drives like a dream after 115,000kms. Comfortable cruising in all conditions. Even got to use HL over some dirt tracks in one of the national parks due to recent rain. Still love my Prado.

I contacted AJ, the bars are no longer for sale. It was not productive for him to make them as despite a lot of enquiries, very few people followed through to get one. On the other hand, if people group together and want say 10 then it is likely he will make them (just a suggestion).

He is still doing the rock sliders.

I flush the hole lot out but I did not change the filter yet I'm going to do another flush on my next service and change the filter then.the oil was a very dark color

              • Fitted a boost controller added another 3 psi to match up to my chip maybe i can turn it up now. It drives so smooth on the power not like before and goes up steep hills with no problems it pulls up hill now not just trying to hold speed. And yes I have a boost gauge and egt gauge lol

                • Spent $1000 on replacing the front wheel bearings.Left side had rusted to axle.Took the mechanics over Two hours to free it.Found out that they were stuffed over the Christmas break when I had the Prado on a hoist fixing the fuel filler hose.Front wheel could be moved about 5 mm each way.Not bad really for the work that my 120 has done.

                    • If you're like me and have had the inter-cooler off a few times then check the rubber pipes: 1 between turbo outlet and inter-cooler pipe and 1 between inter-cooler outlet and throttle body. Both mine have split. The upper one has been blowing some oil out and this is with the catch can fitted. Now the can is gone. I tried Turbo Tech in Perth for some silicon replacements and they only make them in imperial making the genuine hoses the only way to go. I glued the old hoses until I can replacements.

                        Hey Dave,

Contact Repco, gates brand, ask for Hilux ones, they may not have Prado listed.
Any problems call me & I can either give you the part numbers or send you a pair.
Toyo is a big rip off.

                          • Finished off a couple of projects, plumbed the polyairs to a gauge and control valve fed from the endless air to save time hooking the camper up on trips. Added a hobbs switch to activate a red led if the pressure drops below 5 psi.
I used a cheap ebay regulator and filter for the supply, limiting the pressure to around 50 psi. For the control valve I used an AOB paddle valve http://tinyurl.com/jxnuo5g
Easy now to hook up the trailer and not have to unscrew the schrader valve caps and inflate the bags, can all be done from in the cab.

The other was a flush of the power steering system, strip and clean out the reservoir, add a magnefine filter and plumb it through the unused (until now) auto trans cooler in the radiator. Filled with synthetic max life ATF fluid. I regularly change the ATF in the power steering but it was showing signs of overheating and the oil was obviously degrading. Running the return line through the radiator should stop that from happening. I did consider a oil to air cooler but an oil to water heat exchanger is going to win hands down on heat transfer every time.

                            • Mounted my Icom 400-Pro into the centre console and cabled it all up ahead of next week's trip to the Vic high country. Been meaning to get this radio in for a while, I have another Icom mounted above the windscreen, but that's for amateur use and doesn't work on CB. This time we have a mixed group so will have to use CB for the most part.

Still a few things to do, got to weld up a mount to put the fridge in the second row of seats and install my light bar dimmer to give me a bit more control over how dazzling it is when the trees are really close.
