        Hi Beach,
1% finance deal was the prompt. Did the numbers and it all made sense.
Was combination of high salvage value in 10yr old Prado and great finance rate that sealed the deal.

Replaced a 2004 GXL Td auto with 2014 version of the same, complete with same bullbar/snorkel.

Vehicle choice was a no brainer for us. Didn't even look at new car before we bought it. (Why would I have to, read all about it on PP)
Had fun on delivery night discovering all the goodies first hand

I made a start on my dual batteries install today. The offroad downunder tray turned up so I got started with putting it in. Spent about 10 mins bolting it together and cleaning debris out of the bolt holes, then the missus needed the Prado. Not a good start! Hoping to get something actually done on it tomorrow.

My new mudflaps arrived from Amayama today. Just realised I have to drop the steel sliders to fit the front ones. Bugger. Job for next weekend.

I fixed my dodgy handbrake after a very close call. My car somehow jumped out of park rolled down my driveway across the street and into the neighbours drive way. Very luck no damage and no one was at home across the road

I had a Falcon wagon that did that many years ago. It rolled down the drive with trailer attached and, luckily, parked up against a red gum on the front verge. My thoughts about how the car could jump out of park, as well as releasing the park brake, were soon answered when the neighbour drew my attention to the little head that had ducked down below the steering wheel. Number one son was the culprit.
