Changed the wiper blades, haha.2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.Comment

We are on the Northern side at Kurrajong Hts, bounded by Blue Mts national park to our rear and Wollemi national park to our north, been here now for 27years. Went for a drive solo this afternoon into the state forest at Ourimbah, greasy track, seriously rutted and I slid sideways into the base of the rut. It was on 2 wheels for a moment and I puckered up for a moment or two.. Inclinometer read 38 deg!! (it records max values)
Anyone found the "angle of no return" of a 120 before?
Also had to winch out of said situation using rope angles to keep the thing upright.

On the money there Andrew, it was definitely teetering. Seeing as it has a 2" lift, roof cage, solar panel, roof lights and so on that's not bad! I did have a full tank of juice which I'm sure helped. So I spend about 3.5hrs today installing a dual battery tray I got from eBay. It's called a trade pack tray Seems pretty good quality with almost all the brackets and nuts and bolts for installation. The instructions were crap and I needed 3 bolts as the ones they gave where counter sunk and it needed standard bolts. All up pretty good for $119. They had a very good bracket for mounting the power steering reservoir. I needed to drill 2 holes into the guard which I was too keen on but in the end I just did it for strength and to support a bracket for the air filter
Now to get the battery and rest of the system installed2008 Prado 120 GXL V6 auto. Stock...but slowly building it upComment

Finally got around to installing the tranny cooler today. Made a little bracket out of some galv steel I had lying around.
Just need to get some of that foam hose sheathing to protect the hoses where it might rub.
Much better than the housework I was going to do.
