Grande "ARB" RESTRICTIONS??

My ARB were a little different when I went in to give the local guy a chance with a sale, I talked to the manager who insisted that a lift wasn't possible as he had put every know ARB product on his father in laws grande but could not find a way to install a lift. I gave him all the part numbers needed and told him to google pradopoint and airbagman. After ordering all my suspension from CalOffroad I asked the chain mechanic for a price on install but were also scared off by the rear, I wasn't surprised at all and I will still go back for servicing.
As a 25yr old Electrician in Alice Springs I loaded lots of threads with advice up on the Ipad and set off swapping out the old with the new and with the help of my father in law we got it done and the family enjoyed the trip away over Easter. Only complaint was from the daughter not wanting to let me pack up to come home I must say thanks to everyone here for the advice. (Sorry for the rant)

I suspect your man in the red centre is Matt from ARB. Great bloke that used to work at Regeny Park in SA. He and many other ARB boys are aware of what you can do, the point is ARB have chosen not to cater for Grande suspension mods as they cannot provide their level of guarantees associated with the mod. This makes good business sense and despite me having to shop elsewhere they get my respect as only doing what they have tested and can stand behind.

Great Forum subject!!!

I have a Kakadu 2013 and love it. We are planning to do some outback adventures, Flinders Ranges, Simpson and other trips. I am just setting out on 50mm raised suspension, bull bar, 2nd battery, maybe winch, CB, Snorkel. Our ARB dealer does Kakadu upgrades all the time and promises the vehicle will be level. I was wondering how the vehicle will handle afterwards. The dealer suggests Old Man Emu springs and shocks. My wife loves the comfort setting and responsive ride of the standard Toyota suspension. Will the vehicle handle like a truck afterwards or will it improve the responsive and shock absorbing ride?
