Hi guys. Have a 120 TD GX manual, I've had a heavy duty clutch installed a couple of years ago. A few weeks ago the slave cylinder blew, now I''ve had it repaired several times in the last 2weeks, it just keeps blowing. I need a descent mechanic that can actually fix it or tell me what's wrong with it and how to fix it...Help

Gday Kickenback
I am guessing that the fact is that you "CAN" buy clutch slave cylinder repair kits for about $12 or less!! (I personally would highly not recommend it and it is illegal for wheel cylinders) as they tend to pop the seals as the inner bore is worn and the seals do not seat properly!Originally posted by Kickenback View Postthe slave cylinder blew, now I''ve had it repaired several times in the last 2weeks, it just keeps blowing.
SOLUTION: The part number for a genuine brand new clutch slave cylinder for your 05 GX TD rig is
Part No: 3147060300 & would cost you $58.25 USD + delivery from Amayama
or you could simply buy a none genuine "Complete Slave Cylinder" from either Bursons/ Repco/ Supercheap or Autobarn that would be more than good enough to do the job without any dramas.
