  • Standard of fitment OE accessories

I just had a sniff in the hole where the jack sits. I found when the dealer fitted the reverse sensors and towbar electrics, they left the relays just floating around and the control box thrown in there. Is this normal? :?

How are the relays normally attached? Is there an OE bracket for them?

I guess that's what you get for a very cheap deal

I'll go crazy with cable ties tomorrow

          Hi blkmav90 - see my experience here http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php ... highlight=

Slack bastards - obviously not their $60k vehicle. Make sure you check all the grommets are seated properly otherwise you'll have a cargo area full of dust next time you're off road.

My experience was exactly the same as blkmav90. I heard a noise in the jack compartment and the sensor box had been stuck on with double sided tape which had let go. I fixed it with a couple of cable ties and all good. Then I noticed the wiring was hanging down because again the double sided tape fell off. The dealer looped cable ties around the wiring and the rear bumper supports. Very roughly. 10k service next week and an item to be fixed. Not good enough.
