  • 120 Ironman Bullbar installation

Just wondering if anyone can give me tips on installing an Ironman bullbar. I'm heading out this Sunday and have had the bar on order for a while only to be told this morning that they can't install it for a few weeks. I was going to attempt it myself including the winch?? Cheers Ray

If you do the TJM bar, I would have something to tell. I bought the TJM bar last 3 weeks for $1530 (financial year end sale). At that time Ironman bar is approximately the same price so I decided to buy TJM one. How much do you have to pay now?

I got a great deal on the bar, painted installed with the winch I already had for $1600 fitted. I think he was fitting it for almost no charge due to me not having the control and control box, he is also supplying them in that price.

I fitted an Ironman deluxe commercial bar two years ago and they come with fitting instructions.
If not go to the Ironman website and you can download the instructions from there if you want to study it before picking up the bar.

Thanks everyone, got the bar and didn't have to much trouble fitting it. Now looking for front recovery points that will fit without having to mod the car or bar. Any help??

I fitted a set of 150 series recovery points.... Only had to drill one hole larger to suit and easy to fit without removing or modifying anything

Did you have to move the radiator to fit the 150 brackets

No need to remove or move the radiator. Nuts fit inside the chassis and come supplied with wire tack welded to enable feeding them down through a hole.
