Rang Toyota and 2006 d4d 160,000 service will be in excess of 1000 dollars. So the intank fuel filters need changing along with general service is the reason for the cost. Does this sound about right? Stated there was about $600.00 in parts. I have picked myself up off the floor cheers Brian

Thanks blw. I have had dealings with those chain store type service centres and have not been impressed. They seem to be always trying to sell you “extras”. Have done a lot of my own servicing over the last 20 years but am now restricted in movement. I will give Toyota a go this time and see what happens. As long as they do the job that you pay for is about all you can expect. CheersCheers Brian. 2006 Grande D4D

Just as a follow up I was happy with the result. Two things stood out though They did a diagnostic check and didn’t charge me $160 normal fee. WTF. They could not or would not fix the after market indicator attached to the bull bar as they did not have an auto electrician plus I think because it was not a genuine Toyota part. I would have thought a diagnosis check would be part of a service. How would they know if anything was faulty? Never mind overall happyCheers Brian. 2006 Grande D4D
