    tacho and fuel gauge not working all the time on Prado 120 2004 diesel manual

    Sometimes when I switch the iginition on, the fuel gauge needle shakes/wobbles. When this happens, then the tachometer gauge needle doesn't move while engine is running - has anyone had a similar problem. Local Toyota have no ideas........

    When it becomes permanent take it to a speedo repairer, probably a dry joint on the circuit board.
