As the Prado is constant 4wd and has a third diff then you will lose drive when one wheel/axle fails or is in the air unless the centre is locked.

The centre diff is a Torsen though, if it's working correctly you should get up to 71% torque to the rear wheels, but then if one rear wheel is spinning and the rear LSD is not limited any more due to Toyota's design and a few 1000km then you won't move...
