Just happened that the 120 I got it from had a tight sunvisor.
Screw driver under the plastic cover-undid two screws and it was mine for $35- bucks!

This sort of thing really annoys me. Issues with simple things that shouldnt happen then leads to profiteering through spare parts sales. Only becomes obvious on forums like this.

I had tried crimping it, mushing toothpicks down inside it etc to try and make the visor firmer. These all lasted a few weeks, then same again.

So I have joined the club. Couldnt stand it any longer, so bought visor today.

went to toyota to see how much it costs for a new one
and wlaked out straight away ( $320.00)...i think it
is cheaper to rip it off and get a pradopoint sticker...
ask for a price on a sun visor with out the light in it. Iv got an 2004 and was quoted about $150 for visor with out the light

Crush some viagra and stuff it in. The stuff has a reputation for firming things up......mlc - useless as t!ts on a bull.

Too many bumps are not good for them!
It seems that some people will try anything to firm them up.
mlc- is Viagra cheaper than buying a new one?

Trick question. I am not saying yes because that will mean I know the price. Damm, i think I still feel into he trap.

Thank God for the safety net, keeping visors stiff since the EH Holden.

I had exactly the same problem, tried to repair it a few times and was quoted $350.00 for a new one (Grande model wit built in light) finished up getting one from a wrecker in Melbourne at $40.00, different colour but who cares....suggest trying Ebay or a wrecker
                              good luck Stevo
