Ground Clerance

I was looking at the new LC300 specs ground clearance of 235mm and wanted to compare it to the old 120 series Grande that I have. There are various numbers posted on the web, including this thread on Prado point. Results range from 181mm for all models except Grande that sits at 205mm. Carsguide says 205mm straight out. I found the 2005 Brochure when I bought the care and it indicates 207 across the range which doesn't make sense as the Grande has height adjust air suspension.

have had some issues with the starter motor, rear diff and air suspension issues which I plan to post about at some point... all minor for a 16 year strong 4x4.

The Grande has "REAR" height adjust, which lowers above about 40-45kmh to normal height.

The Grande may have height adjustment but the diffs don't change heights - which is the low on the vehicle.
