DIY Sand flag connector

Hi Folks

Here is the "el Cheapo" version, we had an old dome tent, got a pole, an orange flag given to me by Reece Plumbing shop, taped the joints on the pole and flag to the top with race tape, then taped it to the bullbar with race tape. Lasted two trips in the desert of around 10,000kms and a trip to Stockton Beach with Samo. When the pole finally died I got the other one out ready to go for the next adventure.

When you get to Birdsville the Shell servo sells authorised sand flags for $30.00, a piece of orange 20mm conduit and a orange clearance flag.

fitted the sand flag connector and attached to flag.
works a treat. now just need to give it a run on stocko.
