That was a plus side Andrew, not having to stress about getting charged storage fees
, she's all fitted up now. Just a couple of small jobs to do, but the big buggy is at Toyota..... Was meant to be out by 1230 buuuuuuut typical toyota they never like to communicate. So at 1140 I get a call to say it won't be ready until 1700..... Made sure I reminded them this morning to open both carriers before trying to open my rear door or they will be up for a new rear door aswel..

Here are some fitted pics of my new bar, thanks again AJ, and thanks for fielding my numerous phone calls
, absolutely rate this bar, the fit and finish is A1 until you see his bar up close you can't truly appreciate the quality.
For those who haven't seen my rig build. I installed this bar myself. It's easy enough to do, I just used a 60lt esky and some wood to chock up to the correct height. Even with the measurements for the bumper cut it's always nerve racking cutting into your pride and joy. I used painting tape to mark my line and an angle grinder and cutting wheel which made easy work of it. The wiring took the longest as I like to solder and wrap all my connections. For power I ended up just tapping into the power from my trailer plug. Makes it easy to unplug if I need to remove the bar for any reason. I ended up needing to remove the bar a third time as I did the bloke thing and didn't read the destructions fully
felt like a real twat when I called AJ
. This bar utilizes every chassis mount that Toyota and aftermarket tow bar places use, it fits up extremely solid, and just adding that plate onto the chassis just tops it off.
Would happily recommend this bar to anyone!

In fairness a couple of those wouldn't have been needed except for a couple of mistakes at my end, minor as they were it shouldn't have happened. Just a suggestion on the pinch weld, and I might add this to the instructions. Where it crosses the join between the flare and the bumper if you cut a notch out of the inside of the pinch weld it will sit a bit neater. There is a bit of a lump on the inside of the join that looks like it is slightly distorting you pinchweld. Like wise on mine I run the pinch weld around the cornet at the wheel arch, also notching the inside of the corner to help it go round smoothly.

It's all good Andrew, in the end I love this product like your sliders both very well engineered and thought out products. With that Pinch weld I stuffed up with not following it all the way around under the wheel arch, I have added a cut off bit after the fact but it looks a little messy. Once I get around to it I will buy some more and do it again whilst notching out the back side on the corner and at the join. Have had some great feedback from people that have seen it already, plus posted it on the local 4x4 fb page. I'm another very happy member who now has an AJ120 rear bar. With the spare wheel carrier and jerry can holder. I even took the trip up from Melbourne over the long weekend to have it fitted up by Andrew himself. All I can say is that I'm over the moon with the finished product, I also had a set of his sliders fitted while i was there also. If any other members are looking for a rear bar for there 120 look no further these are a quality product. Thank you again Andrew for the excellent bar, sliders and for the local info on the camping spots, very happy!
