whilst changing my spring on monday arvo, i thought
i'd give the body a small lift.
i had some nylon, similar to your copping board, so decided to cut some spacers.
had a look and how much extra length i had on the body bolts.
16mm at the front going down to 10mm and the rear,
so i had a rough idea what would fit.
out came my drill and holesaws.
cut 8 (76mm) and drilled a 13mm centre hole for body bolt.
i put 12mm packers in the front ranging down to 6mm in the rear.
took me 30 mins the make and clean up the 6 spacers.
about 45 to an hour to undo and remove and body bolts.
out with a trolley jack and big block of oregan, lifted the body and slid
the packers in above the body rubber, sitting the body bolts in to align the spacers.
**becareful not to over lift body as you could damage/stretch something**
refitted and body bolt washers and nuts - they only just start.
tighten them all up, and job done.
it took about 2 hours to complete.
