White Lightning,
I'll PM you the name of the installer I would suggest you avoid.
My initial setup was Lovells TFR-118 / TRR-119 and Bilstiens, with the front Bilsteins set up with the spring seat on the lowest setting (there are three settings). I had an alloy bullabr and dual batteries. I was happy with the ride this produced but disappointed that the front had dropped about 30mm after six months.
Now that I have installed a winch and steel cradle, I have upgraded the front springs to Lovells TFR-118HD and set the front Bilstiens to have the spring seats on the middle setting. This has produced a firmer rider than previous, though not overly harsh, and about 40mm more lift.
I think the setup I have now is great for bullbar / winch / dual batteries, but for just an alloy bullbar I'd stay with the medium duty TFR-118 springs on the front but set the Biulstiens to the middle springs seat settings.
I've been happy with the TRR-119 springs (medium duty) on the rear and have just added air bags so I can adjust the level when fully loaded. I have not noticed any issues with the rear Bilstiens maxing out on full down travel.
Note: Last weekend we noticed that the Bilstiens on the front of Russ's Prado have a different part number to those installed on mine and Matt's and give a much harder rided compared to mine, even those we had the same springs. We are trying to find out what the differences in the part numbers indicate.
