        What he said. OR any reputable suspension place.

        Its not the hardest of jobs, I did mine myself in about 6hrs.

          I read somewhere that you don't have kids... no kids = more time to DIY.. sadly I don't have that luxury.

              Hi all

              Have just look to get the OME lift..

              Just wanting to run my config by all to see further comments on config/setup

              Have a steel arb bbar (winch capable - no winch), ipf lights and soon a dual battery setup.

              Have a Blackwidow BS900 draw system in rear. On trips have a fridge and usual camping gear/etc.

              Suggested/Quoted config is:
              -> Front : N140S & OME884
              -> Rear : N142 & OME896
              -> Stoneguards

              Seems like the front config is right on for the car setup?? Question, is the draw system enough to warrant N142/896 - it is likely not to be loaded up too often ; only holidays and some weekends?

              Any advice over and above what has been provided in this thread given my config is much appreciated. Is $1400 fitted&wheel bal a good price?

              cheers

                Do what I did, purchase the medium rear springs for everyday driving etc, and bought a pair of heavy loads to bung on when going on a fully laden trip. Which of course is not often enough. But it takes about 30 minutes to swap over the rear springs if you have a highlift jack and if you have weak hands a good set of spring compressors.

                    I have N140S & OME884's on the front and N141 & OME895 on the rear. I have ARB Steel Bar, Winch, Driving Lights and dual batteries. It rides very nicely. If you live near by you are welcome to a test drive.

                          I have done nearly 16,000 Km since I put the OME setup on mine ... I've got to change the front springs over for the heavier ones ... I got the cradle and winch much sooner than I expected ... but I'm extremely happy with it.

                          Cheers

                              OME suspension

                              Hey Phil,
                              do you have any before & after front/rear measurements for your OME lift?

                              i just had OME lift added yesterday. Rides better than standard and handles well on-road so far. seems to soak up bumps really well although haven't done any serious off-road yet.

                              N139S/OME883 on front and N141/OME895 on rear.
                              measurements went from 750mm to 775mm on front (only 25mm gain!). Rear went from 770mm to 820mm (50mm gain).

                              everyone else with OME suspension seems to have about 40-60mm gain in front dimensions. Wonder if the difference is the weight of the diesel motor compared to petrol? think i'll call ARB tomorrow.

                              Brendan

                                Check out the suspension measurements (1 & 2) threads for measurments with all kinds of vehicle setups.
