Rear Height Control / Toyota Enhanced Modulated Supension
Having a 2007 VX Grande done about 305000 kms from brand new. Just now having a problem where the Rear Height Control doesn't auto level not even the height control switch works for Hi or Lo. It just stays at N. Followed the troubleshooting as per manual and none of the symptoms match. I had a full load of 8 people in my car the previous night and now it wont auto level. Any ideas. Have already checked the fuse and that's fine.

My first thought would be to take it to a mechanic with a computer diagnostic tool, probably Toyota. They hook this up to the ECU (computer) and go into the air suspension section and it will tell them why the unit is not responding - it could be as easy as a reset and off you go.
Bear in mind there are 2 fuses - a 10 amp and a large 50 amp (in mine anyway). If the 10 amp fuse is blown there will be a light come up beside the height control display on the dash which says "off".

Mine was not leveling aswell and wouldn't go up or down. Light in dash would always stay on normal.
Took it to ToJo and they wanted me to book it in with a minimum of 1 hours charge......don't think so!!!!
Asked if I could get one on the mechanics to just come out to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong.
Took 45mins for mech to come out. first thing he did was pull out center console and found plug on height control had come off.
Bingo fixed.. almost 2 years ago now and no probs.Comment

I have a 2003 Grande and mine does the same- switch stays on N, the compressor is not comming on at all and the air level has to nil and now am bouncing around all the time.
Have checked: Fuse both 10 and 50, checked center console switch, pulled out the compressor and remote tested and it does work.
I'm guessing my last option is to get it diagnosed?
