Mm, I never had a problem with my Konis in my 90 series, admittedly mainly highway miles but towing a camper. I was thinking of trying Bullies in my 120 but this post has made me to rethink that thought.

I'd rate them as another good option if your worried.

Yep just went through all my receipts, fitted October, 2011. 40thou service done at Toyota on the 3rd December, 2011. I'm currently on 76thou k's on the ODO there was no towing during this period. Got a big trip planned mid June towing a camper trailer I pick up this week, so now have another job to add to the list of things to do before I leave.

Interesting about the warranty on the shocks my bilsteins 2 year 40 thou warranty . I have asked about warranty repair . I like the way the car handled with the bilsteins but I wasn't going to pay the price again. You can get shocks with heaps better warranty and cheaper .
I just put on Dobinsons and I thought they handled really good on the recent Fraser trip see how they go loaded up on the Simpson .

All those donuts Anders. No, not the sugary ones, the wheelies you kept pulling whilst showing off on the SA GTG.

From Jason at Wholesale Suspension via the Market Place section in the forum. He looked after me with the freight.

Oh, the power! Look at me, I can get the back end out.

I've got a oily residue on the front side of my front shocks. Is there any way to tell if it's shock absorber oil vs road grime? The front shocks feel ok. I noticed the residue after a recent 5 day trip offroad. The back side of the shock is a lot cleaner.

Wipe them down and just keep an eye on them. If the shocks are still damping ok no big deal unless you get lots of leakage.

Thanks. I degreased this afternoon. I'll give it a few weeks and check.

As mentioned earlier in this thread had a small leak, took the Prado into the shop and asked about it. I was told some times they can leak some oil not to worry..

Anyway mid way through my trip in Yulara the Prado started to feel boaty out of a few corrugations in the rear. Went to check out the rear whole shock is coated in oil so I guess it proper failed on my trip. I'll take it back again now and see if enough oil has come out to warrant replacement now.
