Re: ATS Bilstein Suspension Setup
This quote has come from something deleted by the look of it, but, for the record,
No vehicle we have fitted has had 4 failures, [of anything]though we did put one customers vehicle back to standard to be traded on thier new vehicle, and sold on the old equipment from that vehicle which had done 80-90,000km of mostly 4wding, including the Simpson, Hay river, etc, always overloaded, and the vehicle they were fitted to 2nd hand, they began to leak in the rears, and the fronts were "noisy" so they were replaced with new ones.
If the supplier had seen 4 failures on a vehicle, they would of come straight to us to find out what may be causing it, and that didnt happen either.
Apart from those, which were actually out of warranty, we have had one other rear leak, which was replaced under warranty on the 120.
Any mass produced part like shocks, we always like to work on a < 1.5% warranty return rate, as a maximum, as this seems to seperate the milk from the cream, and its fair to say we are well below that with our current range, and we introduced the range becuase the manufacturer was already showing less than this return average as well. [like most of our suppliers products, warranty return rate helps us decide if we wish to test it first, before taking it on]
