    Hey all,

I think AJ's figures are spot on, take a look at my lift vs coil free length plot, the 883, 884, and 885 coils are consistent with the above figures.

    http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...0-series-Prado

I pulled these numbers from various places here on Pradopoint, so they prolly include bullbars in some cases.

Note that the only 885 coil I have in the plot has almost 2.4" lift!

I tend to use 770mm for the rear, but it is usally somewhere in the 770-780mm range for a factory rear end.

Hey Matt, if you come to the conclusion the springs are crap (looks like they are no good for your setup) let me know. As long as you have flat concrete at your place I can come down after work one arvo and we can get stuck in. I'll bring the work ute with stands, jack, tools, etc. even being the scan tool and we can have a squiz at those injector values. Let me know mate, happy to help out after you have been screwed buy one of our lovely suppliers up here.

I can't believe how a 2" lift is advertised but 1" is considered acceptable at the front but not at the rear. So as Jason said, you end up with an exaggerated nose down stance. I would bring this up to head office or PM the ARB rep here.
Hi Amts , after the branch weren't interested & manager never rang back I contact head office Melbourne and sent a detailed email of my troubles, then head office QLD at Nundah called back and I talked to the bloke for about an hour. He was adamant that he wouldn't have installed 885s on my vehicle . When getting a quote I mentioned I wanted to accomodate future winch without upgrading coils. Hard to argue with someone who has more knowledge than you and "has been on the business 16 yrs". Phone call was left with me still expressing my disappointment and him saying if it continued to drop he would be happy to take a look at it. Need to get a little more info and droop and am ready to pull these out a get different coils. I,m ready to ask for a refund as I don't think I should have to fork out as I'm not dealing with a one man band but a multi national company . It would of cost them maybe a $400 warranty claim to replace them but now I don't want replacements as this has already been too hard. Spent 10k+ at their shop in the last 2 yrs & now I won't be stepping thru their doors ever again. Hopefully people following this will be aware of the questions I wasn't knowledgable enough to ask at the time .
    Cheers Matt

Curious, all my paperwork list part no 2884 as the front springs. No winch, no dual battery but do have the ARB Sahara bar. Was fitted just before Christmas and 5000 k's later is still sitting at 805 both sides at the front. Might say something about QC.

    I know Andrew. It's a joke.
Nobody makes a 25mm Spring for them as far as i know & why on earth would you take a car that already sits nose down and turn it into a full time snow plough by going higher in the back again?

    Regards, Jason.

He was referring to my heights on the day of install before lift not as AJ said the standard ride height, which makes sense now. Kings wouldn't make springs for a car with 50mm sag and 20mm sag. I guess I wasn't very informed when I ordered the lift and didn't know the right questions to ask. It seems strange though that you can be sol a kit without anyone looking at your vehicles current height..
    These were my ride heights

    Very poor outcome.
