    Re: OME or KinGS

    Hi Hutch,

Sorry mate, couldn't see any part numbers on the springs. I just told my mechanic what I wanted to do with them and he sourced them for me. I believe they would be the medium duty ones.

Still riding like a dream and do well when loaded up.

      Hi Hutch
Mine are King Springs KTRS-102 (Standard plus) they gave me around 25mm lift and the rear doesn't sag anymore when loaded. They are a little stiffer than the originals but of no concern.I'm still running the original shocks at this stage without any problems.

I hate to sound rude but did you read this thread? you can see there are a number of members running Kings springs on their Prados, so yes, you can. Lifting a Prado is a very common modification that most of us have done.

Hey Wattsy. How is the ride going with your Kings and original shocks? Still the same? Any disadvantages?

              Hi Papo
All going good ,the King springs haven’t sagged and the original shocks are doing fine (94,000Klm). When I get some spare cash (not likely soon with three boys at school) I will replace the original rear shocks and do the front.

                Hi everyone
I fitted the standard height king springs and bilsteins 4 years ago and have been very happy with the setup but have noticed recently the front starting to sag and soften in ride. ill just replace the springs with the same as their quite cheap. the shocks are fine no oil leaks or weeps. Its a vast improvement over the standard on and off the road.
