  • EFS Lift

    Hi all,
I finally got the air air under my belly. After some months of looking around I decided on an 2"EFS lift. Price $1500 including fitting and wheel alignement. I love the look and the ride. But the missus loves the ride but reckons it looks too high and has damaged the look of her car, plus stating that I left with a classy vehicle and bought home a monster truck. Oh well she can't have everything. I got about 45mm lift at the rear and 55mm at the front.
I'm off to Noosa North Shore next weekend to give it a run and will probably give it another alignment before our trip to Fraser Is at christmas.

    Cheers
    Steve

Thanks Samo I'll keep it it mind, she's a little upset that she can't park at some shopping center underground car parks.

Did you have Heavy Duties installed at the front? My medium duty EFS lift gave me only 25-30mm at the front and 50-55mm at the rear. I am disappointed about the uneven amount of lift.

                HIKDJ,

Sorry to have taken so long to reply, haven't been near a computer for a while.
I had heavy duty installed on the front and medium on the rear with the intention to install Polyairs when I finally get a camper trailer. They are a bit spongey when I come of a kurb but that maybe normal and me just being used to the factory setup.

That expains it all. I would think with 55 mm in the front your are in the "risk zone" concerning wear on the front axles. With a heavy bullbar she'll be just perfect.

I don't think there will be a problem with wear, from what I have read the extra lift in the front is due to the original suspension must have sagged 10mm inn the front.
