Gidday guys, I have the Cooper at3s fitted on my d4d and have done 30,000 k so far with no issues. They are quite and handle all conditions on road well, have not done any real off road work yet but do not expect any problems provided correct pressures are maintained. The dealer that said they are noisy is a dick head and needs to be avoided. I paid $1800 for 5 fitted and balanced in western Sydney.

            Hi Guys,

Its time to upgrade the tyres and I think I've settled on the Cooper AT3.

What prices have people been paying in Perth??

I got quoted $383 per corner including "road force balancing".

            Cheers

given its only been 4 days, what are your first impressions?
I am up for some front tyres and from what has been posted the Cooper AT3 are getting good feedback
Bitumen is boring, at least it can get you to the next off road adventure

I got a price for Cooper AT3's 265/60/18" for a VX at Bob Janes Maroochydore for $350 per corner if that helps any of the Brissy guys.

Im guessing the 17" version will price better than that.

I have driven on AT3 for 10 months now (my work 120) and they are very predictable in the wet and the loose stuff. I like them alot and would recommended them for anyone only getting off road say, twice a month. In saying that Pat Callinan used them on his back up production vehicle off road for 12 months with zero issues, so I guess the proof is in the pudding...

My AT3's live off road and do plenty of highway miles too. They are a great all rounder and do everything well.

Do you guys have any suggestions for good tyre pressures to run as a starting point?

                          I was thinking:
                          H/Way - 40psi
                          Gravel/tracks - 34psi
                          Beach/Sand - 20psi

I gather this is a bit like how long is a piece of string however I was keen for rough starting points to work with.

That is a good start what u have, I run 36 on the highway for comfort, as the ARB suspension is a little firm.

                              Hi KJA

                              That price was for the 265 / 65 / 17 they're for a 120 series GXL.

Where did you get pricing for yours?

                              Cheers

The quote I had was for $405 per corner fitted and balanced from Claremont Tyre Power. I have only spoken to them on the phone but Ryan who I spoke to seemed to be on the ball. Your 265/65/17 would be light Truck? If so they would be a little more expensive.
I am still in to minds about the AT3's ($405) or the Yoko Geolanders ($395). I did have quote for the 265/60/18 from a place in Moorabin $390 per corner.
                                ken
