  • Ebay BFG's

    Hi,

I just came across these BFG's this afternoon. $275 fitted if I pick up from store. Is there anything I need to look out for when buying BFG's from smaller outlets? My last set was fitted by one of the big brand outlets in Adelaide.

    Thanks,

Just make sure the tyres aren't really old stock, ask for the manufacture code and check the tyres they fit have those codes.

Can't say for that particular seller however I have purchased Two sets of tyres on eBay (Tempe Tyres).

They were high performance tyres for the Mrs car (1 set fitted in store ,1 set delivered via TNT) and have been very happy with the service and the purchase price.

I have purchased 4 Cooper CS4s from cornellstyres for the missus' ride. I rang them up direct and got a small discount from their ebay price. They are grey importers so warranty issues goes back to them rather than through an Australian retailer. I asked about the manufacture dates and I was told that they are all fresh and they were only a couple of months old. It took them a few days to get the right person to talk to me about the price discount but once paid and sent off, I got the tyres arrive down in the Adelaide depot quick smart.

I would buy from them again but their warranty conditions (you can only deal through them) would mean that their lower price would have to be worthwhile. Ok if you are in Sydney.
