Book my 150 in for some of these on the 24th. Got a good price $365 per corner. Whoo hoo can't wait. The following I am talking the droid to the Murchison offroad centre to give the tyres a work out.

Well, tried them out on the weekend with a lot of combined wet tarmac & dirt/mud and I cant fault them!
The grip on wet roads was quite impressive, and they didnt skip a beat offroad!

                      BFG KO2 Fitted today!

Hi Guys, thanks to PradoPoint I bit the bullet and bought new tyres. Originally I was set on the Cooper ST Maxx's but was talked into trying the new BFG AT KO2. Glad I did! Being the tight ass I am I shopped around for the best price and managed to score 5 tyres fitted and balanced from Kmart Tyre and Auto Kardinya for $1600. I got the 265/70/17 size.

So far, 320kms in (I couldn't help myself but go for a long drive) they are doing very well. Very quiet compared to the old BFG's I had and handled smoothly down the freeway to Bunbury and back.

They look great on the Prado too!

I got mine fitted as well today.

They are actually surprisingly quiet - have a Hilux with ST Maxx in the same size and its much more noisier (or the cabin lacks acoustic insulation).

Only done 50ks, but liking its handling. However, i do prefer the look of the ST maxx though!

Hi Grumpy. Can I just ask what size are they and did you get all five (ie the spare fit under the cover)?

Size is 265.70.17. I haven't replaced the spare yet (next week) so I don't know if it fits under the cover. I can't believe how much of an improvement these tyres make to the handling. The vehicle feels so much more stable now.
