Do you have to request the white lettering when ordering these tyres or does it come stock standard?
I believe it is standard, only thing is, I'm told that most tyre shops normally put the white lettering on the inside and you have to request them to put it on the outside. Having said that, when I got mine I didn't specify and they put it on the outside.
Got the tyres on today. Look good, got them to put the lettering on the outside.
I just need to find a second hand alloy wheel at the right price and I can get my second spare done as well. Then I am going to rotate all 6 tyres every 10K.

I want to buy 6 of these tyres, but are still confused about size and what is the way to go. Have read as many posts as I can and still have no idea!!! Bob Jane has 265/65r17 for $299, Bridgestone dealer has 265/70r17 $285. Vehicle will mainly be on tarmac, but want to use it on the sand(beach) and up in Karijini/Pilbara as well! From what I can figure out, most people go for 70's over 65's because of the extra lift/look rather than the functionality? So confused.....
The benefit of the 275/65 is that you gain about 7mm of lift and with the 265/70 you gain abut 14mm of lift, it's not a lot but might get you over a rock or sand mound that would normally stop you. The trade off is fuel economy. I decided on the 275/65 because the 265/70 isn't legal in Queensland.
