    Is it OK to mix the same size tyres with the same load and speed ratings but with different tread patterns on the rear axle

    I know it is preferred that if you have to mix tyres that they be the same from side to side but can be different front to back. Doesn't really answer your question but just what I think I know.

      Not sure about your laws in WA, but in Qld it's illegal to have different tread patterns on the same axle. On the rear I wouldn't see a prob with handling. The front's a different story though.
      2005 120 series V6 Grande, 2 inch susp lift (King/EFS combo), 32 inch MT’s, Safari Snorkel, rear diff lock, breathers, Light Force spotlights, UHF, dual batteries.
