I do realise that but the price increase was last week. The price might go higher since the distributor has recommended 20%.

No I'm incorrect there. Spoke to Cotton Tyres (8447 7559) this morning, distributor for MT and the price went up on Monday. The fella there indicated the price will stay as is for about three months before the next review.

Anyone have any thoughts on tyre pressures for the ATZ's?

I have a note taken from various sources that says:

Bitumen: 36-40
Dirt: 25-30
Rock: 20
Mud: 20
Sand: 15

Does that sound like a good starting point? The tyres came fitted at 40 front, 36 rear.

Well I do not have the ATZ's yet but those pressures are what I use on the GT's so I think they are a generic pressure guide.

Paid a $200 deposit on MT ATZs to be fitted in January by Bridgies at Flinders Park. Got them for $356 each against the book price (from Cotton Tyres) of $382 so I'm grateful for that but would have been happier if I'd paid earlier before the price rise.

Will possibly be looking at an extra rim and no 6 in April/Mayish. Considering a Speedie Grande to match in.

mav try tjm at wallsend, they have a set in the show room, they r 265/65/17, they have been there a while so, give em a ring and see what they can do. cheers samo

Thanks Samo I will give them a ring. Are you sure they are 265/65/17 I thought they only came as LT265/70R17?

So Mav, It looks like you are going to beat me to them. The price I had was $356 fitted and balanced. I annoyed the dealer into that price.

Time may just beat me due to the time of year and the Prado needing to go in for warranty work on Monday and maybe off the road for 4 or 5 days. I am hoping that the service tech has got his wires crossed on the faults he reckons he found.

So if they cannot get it done tomorrow then I guess I am out of luck this time.
