l havethe micky ATZ 4 rib and have done around 10,000 no noise handle well on road and in the mud l have them down to 18 psi in the mud and they grip like a mountain goat they seem to empty out the mud from the lugs better than coopers. my father inlaw has got coopers stt and he does not go where mine go so he is now a micky man. very impressed $345 a tyre ballarat

For pictures read through the thread. There are some and I think they are from Speed_racer on page 2 or 3. I have also posted some on my rig build up as well, as have others. Pricing is typically between $345 (very very good price) upto about $370 but will vary based on location and competition. If your are remote and there is only one tyre dealer then you willk probably pay more.

Pricing is typically between $345 (very very good price) upto about $370 but will vary based on location and competition. I am looking at these at the moment and every dealer in Perth I have talked to takes the price straight out of a book $392. One dealer has said they will do me a discount as I want five tyres but will not give me an indication of how much.

I picked mine up in Brisbane a couple of months ago for $330 a tyre for a set of five.

Sounds like things are a hell of alot dearer on the west coast. Good luck.

Well I am booked in for Saturday managed to get $376 a corner. Only getting 4 at the moment as there are no more available in the state/country? they will contact me as soon as the final one arrives.

Took the new tyres up the scarp today, bloody fantastic. Just crawled up places I doubt I would have made with the grandcraps. Driving home flashed up a couple of GPS units and the speedo is now spot on.

Very very happy, top it off that I have an 80000km warrenty, couldn't be happier

Have fiiiiinally put in the order for a set of these. Hooray!
Price I got was $335 per tyre for 5 * 265/70/17, so decided to jump in.
Guy at Donnellans said he has them on back order now and is hoping for delivery late this month. I've been waiting over 3 years to get some decent rubber so a few more weeks wont kill me I guess.
Looking forward to getting rid of those Grandcraps. Although I must at least admit I've got over 70,000km out of them and they've still got a bit of life left in them, but can't have them holding me back from some decent exploring and real bush camping any longer!
Bring on the chunkier shoes!

Good Price sometimes I wish I still lived in Melbourne, then I look out my office window at Rottnest and think of the fun planned for the weekend.

My dealer told me I got the last four so I am still waiting for my spare to arrive. You will not be disapointed, I was on the mud and clay the day after I got them fitted and the difference was incrediable. The car even feels a whole lot better on the road.

Hmm the guys in Emerald tyre in Joondalup quoted me $385 and said availability wasn't a problem ? Presume they all get them from the same place :?:

When I initially enquired, they said could most likely have them for me the next day.
With an actual order when they checked, thats when they said there would be a delay.
Hopefully the estimate of 2 - 3 weeks is not bollocks and I end up having to wait any longer than that.....

Mickey T are pretty conservative with their timing so dont be surprised if you get em earleir. They are worth the wait though, a kick ass tyre.

I've done about 26000 on my ATZs now. I have six all up and rotate these altough probably closer to every 7000kms at this point in time for no other reason that that is how it has turned out. Loved them when I had them on initally and they performed beautifully when we crossed the desert but showed a lot of signs of wear. This was only the rear two tyres and I put this down to the conditions, the weight being carried, possibly too high a pressure altough pressures where about 26psi on Oodnadatta and Birdsville tracks and about 14psi over the desert. Since then there has been no other real damage other than some partially torn lugs wearing off but that was to be expected.

These are a great tyre. They are not overly noisey despite the tread pattern. They have performed extremeley well in all conditions (bitumen - dry, bitumen - wet, gravel, sand and mud) and since having these on have never been stuck (touch wood). I've had them as low as 10psi and didn't feel that they were going to be rolled. I've had them across the Simpson which felt easy enough and taken them to Robe/Beachport. There was one spot where we had some bother but didn't need a recovery. If I had dropped another 2-3psi it would not have been an issue. I've played in mud and they just kept going but the spots where I was slipping was the same spots that everyone was slipping. On wet bitumen there is no issues either like some others have reported relating to different tyres by the same of other manufacturers. I've also taken them to the Bendleby Ranges twice and they performed extremely well both times.

Would I buy them again. That's a tricky one, just like asking me if I would buy another Prado. I would but then I would probably also consider getting a mud tyre. I certainly would not not recommend these tyres as they are a great tyre and have performed exteremely well.
