Re: Advice on upgrading rims/tyres
gday marshallarts
in regards to your speed v revs with the change of tyre size it dosn't change what your speedo shows in regards to revs as the speedo takes the reading from the gearbox before the tyres, so what changing your tyre diameter dose to your speedo reading is make it false, most people use there gps or odometer check on freeways to see how accurate the speedo is after a change for example on my old triton i went from standard (dunno size) to 31inch tyres and this made my speedo out by 10% so when my speedo read 100kmph i was actually doing 110kmph which meant that i was travelling faster then i thought and lucky not to be caught speeding before i found out
hope this helps (makes sense)
